Jasmine, the film scored by Shie won the Excellence Award at the Rincón International Film Festival in Puerto Rico.

Mystery surrounds Jasmine’s murder and her husband, Leonard To (Jason Tobin, BETTER LUCK TOMORROW), encounters a man from her past who he knows is connected. Leonard returns to Hong Kong a year after his wife’s death and struggles to rebuild his life. He searches for a new job, attends support group meetings and reconnects with an old acquaintance, Grace Wang (Eugenia Yuan, REVENGE OF THE GREEN DRAGONS).

With bouts of despair, Leonard’s healing process continues, but old wounds rip open when a stranger appears at his wife’s grave on her one-year memorial. Leonard doesn’t let the suspect escape and follows him, determined to find the truth, but what he discovers is more than he can handle. Dramatic in mood and visually compelling, this psychological thriller does not disappoint.

Jason Tobin delivers an excellent performance as a bereaved husband and Byron Mann (THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS) also appears. This film was awarded the Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature at the 2015 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.
