In what will be Shie’s 4th collaboration with composer John Swihart, Shie is set to music edit Nailed. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Jessica Biel, James Marsden, Paul Reubens, Catherine Keener, Kirstie Alley, James Brolin, and Tracy Morgan, Nailed is a romantic comedy about a naive small town waitress who accidentally gets a nail buried in her head, causing erratic and outrageous behavior that leads her to Washington DC. There she falls for a dashing, but clueless, Congressman who searches for the courage to save her.

Shie was hired to be the music editor on Lake Effects, an independent family film full of drama, conflict and comedy. The film stars Jane Seymour, Scottie Thompson, and Lily Tisdale. This will be Shie’s first collaboration with composer Kaz Boyle.

Shie is currently scoring the theme music along with episodic underscore to a new web series titled On the Market. Produced by Jason Sting, this is Shie’s third collaboration with Jason, having previously scored two short films directed by Sting – Room 401 & Twilight Tango.
